The 3 West Club occupies a historic Neo-Georgian clubhouse built in 1934 for the Women's National Republican Club. Designed by architect Frederic Rhinelander King, the building stands on the former site of Andrew Carnegie's home and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

3What are the elevator dimensions at 3 West Club?
3 West Club has both a service elevator and a passenger elevator available within the building. The Service Elevator (CAR1) has a front door frame measuring 84" high × 39½" wide and a rear door frame measuring 84" high × 41½" wide. Its interior dimensions are 92½" high × 63" wide × 41" deep. The Passenger Elevator (CAR2) has a front door frame measuring 84½" high × 41½" wide, with interior dimensions of 92½" high × 70½" wide × 53" deep.
