During this difficult time, we want to reassure our guests that the 3 West Club is committed to the safety and health of its guests and employees. To that end, we have implemented certain protocols to welcome guests back in a safe and health-conscious manner.
- All dining and overnight guests are required to wear a face mask in public areas of the building.
- Upon entering the building, all guests must stop at the temperature screening kiosk. Guests showing a fever will unfortunately not be allowed to dine or stay with us.
- Guest Protection During Hotel Stay: At check-in, guests will receive a face mask if they haven’t worn their own. Latex gloves are also available. Hand sanitizer stations are prominently placed throughout the Club for guests and employees. Contactless check-out is available.
- Enhanced Cleaning of Guestrooms and Shared Spaces: Building on already high standards of cleaning, our highly trained cleaning staff will continue to disinfect all areas of the Club at an increased frequency, using EPA-approved disinfectants and focusing on sanitizing all high-touch areas in shared spaces and in guestrooms.
- Dining Services: We will be open on Aug 3rd for outdoor dining (Lunch and Dinner, Monday to Friday) on the Solarium Terrace. This will be by reservation only for members, their guests, and hotel guests. Please note that, in accordance with NY law, cocktails will only be served with a meal or appetizer. We will resume indoor dining in our 2M Restaurant as soon as local and state regulations allow it. We will uphold our consistent Grade A inspection rating and the highest levels of cleanliness in both our kitchen and Restaurant. Highly trained staff will continuously sanitize all areas and surfaces. All staff members involved in cleaning, food preparation and food service will wear protective equipment at all times. Tables and seating will be appropriately spaced according to CDC and Department of Health recommendations.
- Employee Preventative Measures: Front Desk staff will wear face masks in accordance with local orders and guidance from the CDC and Department of Health; Housekeeping staff will wear face masks and a new set of latex gloves per room serviced. All 3 West Club staff will be trained on preventative measures and how to protect themselves at work. We will adhere to social distancing guidelines throughout the property.
- Flexibility: We want our guests to plan their stays with peace of mind and are committed to a flexible 48-hour cancellation policy for all hotel reservations. All catering events currently booked will also be worked with for rescheduling purposes should we be unable to host a function due to Government guidelines.

What is your check-in and check-out time?
We cannot guarantee early check-ins. To get a better idea of the likelihood of an early check-in, we recommend that you contact the Front Desk the night before your scheduled arrival to ask if any rooms of the same type are vacant that night. If a room of the same type remains vacant, an early check-in will be possible. Late check-outs can be requested for an additional charge, if available, at the time of check-in or during your stay. Check-outs later than 3PM are subject to a full night’s charge.

Which airport should I fly into?
John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) is a longer drive than LGA but, if you plan to take public transportation, it is generally a more direct commute into Manhattan.
Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is 2 miles further than JFK but public transportation into Manhattan is also convenient. If you plan to take a cab, it would likely be the most expensive cab fare of the three.

How do I get to the 3 West Club from the airport?
Taxi
Follow signs to the taxi stand outside of your terminal at the airport. New York City's yellow cabs offer a flat rate to/from JFK and Manhattan, and metered fares to/from LGA and EWR.

From JFK: Flat fare $52.80, plus tolls ($6), and $4.50 rush hour surcharge (4PM to 8PM weekdays). Tip not included.
Travel time is about 30 minutes in light traffic, and 1.5 hours during rush hour. -
From LGA: Metered fare, approximately $40
Travel time is about 20 minutes in light traffic, and 1 hour during rush hour. -
From EWR: Metered fare, approximately $50 - $80
Travel time is about 40 minutes in light traffic, and 2 hours during rush hour.
Car Service
We are happy to arrange a car service from the airport to the hotel. In general, a car service costs more than a city taxi would. To schedule a car service, please contact the Front Desk with your flight details. Approximate rates (tip not included) below:
- From JFK: $85, including tolls
- From LGA: $75, including tolls
- From EWR: $100 + toll

Shuttle
You may reserve your ride with a shared van/shuttle company. This may be most cost-effective for the solo traveler. Below are two popular companies:
Public Transportation
Public transportation (subway and/or bus) is the most cost-effective method. NYC’s public transportation system (MTA) operates 24/7. Keep in mind that only some subway stations have escalators/elevators, and you will most likely have to walk up at least one flight of stairs to street level.
- From JFK: JFK AirTrain to Jamaica Station ⇒ Subway E Train (Manhattan/World Trade Center bound) to 5th Ave/53rd St ⇒ walk about 3 minutes to 3 West Club.
- From LGA: LaGuardia Link Select Bus Service Q70-SBS from your terminal to Roosevelt Ave/74th St Subway station ⇒ Subway E Train (Manhattan/World Trade Center bound) to 5thAve/53rd St ⇒ walk about 3 minutes to 3 West Club.
- From EWR: Newark Airport Express bus from Terminal A, B, or C to Port Authority Bus Terminal (41st Street between 8th and 9th avenues) ⇒ walk 1-2 minutes to enter the 42 St - Port Authority Bus Terminal Subway station ⇒ Subway E Train (Uptown/Jamaica Center bound) to 5thAve/53rd St ⇒ walk about 3 minutes to 3 West Club.
What is the best way to get around the city?
New York’s subway system operates 24/7 and is the fastest way to get to other neighborhoods in Manhattan and other NYC boroughs, such as Brooklyn and Queens.
The closest Subway stops to the hotel are:
E and M trains – 5th Ave/53rd St station (3-minute walk)
B, D, F, and M trains – 47-50th St Rockefeller Center station (5-minute walk)
6 train – 51st St /Lexington Ave (7-minute walk)
MetroCard: One single way is $2.75 and passengers can travel by MTA subways and buses. Metrocard is rechargeable and travelers can do one transfer for free between subway and bus.
To buy a MetroCard: purchase it in the vending machines or in the information point in the main subway stations.
Children: 44 inches tall & under travel for free.
